Home Sweet Home

Right after my mission, I started my BYU-Hawaii online classes. At first, it was tough because my mind was still on the mission. I was having a hard time adjusting to normal life. I always looked for my companion, and looking forward to having a companionship study. Keeping myself busy was helpful! Continuous reading my scriptures, talking to my family and friends, go to church activities, go to the temple, magnifying my church callings and my online classes helped me adjust things to normal life.

April and I at the Manila Philippines Temple
My friend, April Repotente, was in the MTC the same time as I was there. She served in the Salt Lake Temple Square Mission. We planned to meet up at the temple. So we did! It was great seeing and talking to her. We felt so much better. Since that time, adjustment to normal life was quick.

I am so grateful for the church resources that have provided through the internet. Mormon messages are so amazing. These past few weeks I had a hard time in everything I did. The adversary is real! He was trying to tempt me. I prayed so hard and asked Heavenly Father to help me overcome those hardships. I was then prompted to open www.lds.org and I did. I watched my favorite Mormon messages videos.

This is one of my favorite Mormon message videos. When Elder Holland said; "Never ever give up". It was a great help! There was a mighty change of heart I felt. I know that as we do our best to overcome the challenges and struggles in life that we can always know what to do and the Lord will give us strengths to strive hard in following His will for us.
